Make a Wish
Nathan turned 2 on the 2nd of February, so it was his "golden" birthday. It's a fun tradition we have in our family. We went all out with yellow or gold decorations and he even had a crown. He ended up having 3 parties! We had one for him on his actual birthday and ate pizza and had cake and ice cream with Pappy (Jason's dad) and Lisa. He got a little trike from us and he was so excited when Davin rolled it in and he realized it was for him!
We had another party at my parent's home since everyone else is close to them. It was fun to see everyone and make a big deal out of Nathan's special day. He got lots of fun presents from clothes to books to bath toys. Thanks to everyone for coming and making it such a fun event!
We had another party for some of the boys in the neighborhood that have birthdays within days or weeks of each other. We went to McDonald's and let the kids play and then had Thomas the Train cake and ice cream. It has been fun to watch the kids grow up together. They are all so darling and so different from each other. It was a lot of fun! Thanks for planning it, Erin!!
I can't believe that it was 2 years ago that little Nathan was born. He has lived up to his name's meaning and is such a "Gift from God". He has the sweetest personality and is always making us smile and laugh. I really don't know what I'd do without him! We love you Nathan!

He is SOOO CUTE! I love all the yellow decor, totally fits Nay nay. The little ray of sunshine that he is! And what a gift he truly is, I don't even get to see him that often but he lights up my whole world when I do. I'll never forget "I WUV dogs!" We love all your boys and they are so special. Aw the Golden Birthday. Joel had never heard of that when I forced him to have a golden b-day party when he turned 27. I love it!! Happy Golden Birthday Nathan!
