I don't know if I can take one more day of winter! I am so ready for Spring and warm weather that I can hardly stand it! My kids are so sick of being inside and I can tell I'm lacking some serious sunshine. So today as I'm dreaming of warmer weather, I thought I would try to find a cute swimsuit online for this summer. BAD IDEA. I hate shopping for a swimsuit in reality and cyberspace is even worse! Am I asking too much if I want something modest and cute?? I would either find a complete cover-your-whole-body swimsuit or ones skimpy enough that I can't believe they can call it a "full piece" or "tankini". There doesn't seem to be much in the middle.
Ummmm.... not quite what I was thinking.....
I may be asking for too much, I want something that will flatter my bust (meaning an under wire bra and lots of padding) and that will flatten my tummy (I will not give up my chocolate, and hello, I've had twins. There are some things that may never be the same again) and have a cute pattern that doesn't look like something a granny would wear. Does it exist? If anyone knows of a great place to find a swimsuit, please help me!! I did find one site http://www.hapari.com/ that had some cute stuff. I liked this one below but it's so hard to know what it will fit like. Let me know if you have any great ideas!! Until then, I guess I'll have to count down the days till Spring actually arrives.

I'm so with you! I am BEYOND ready for spring! I love the pic of the one you posted. way cute!
This year has been aweful about teasing us with spring. It warms up and then it's cold, it's a viscious (sp?) cycle. And swimming suits! I can't even go there! Good luck!
When you come up next we'll have to check out Kohl's. I got a cute modest one last year and it was even a pretty good price! HURRY WARM WEATHER!
What a cute family picture!! I am so with you on the warm weather~the swimsuit shopping~I HATE IT!! You look great for having had twins:)Let me know what and where you find a suit~
I love your new family picture! You guys are so cute. I hate swim suit shopping so I can't offer any advice on that. I can never find one that I like and that covers everything. Good luck!
Last year I found a good one. I'm not sure what they have this yaear though. The website is layersclothing.com (I think)If that doesn't work let me know.
Good Luck
I hate swimsuit shopping too. I'm definitely ready for spring though. :)
Cute new pic at the top! I love it!
I've got the bug too! But for me that never includes swimming suits :) The never returning to normal bit... I think it now includes my ever surface. Love the new family picture... boys are growing so fast!
I'll go swimsuit shopping with ya! I get too nervous shopping for them online because I just know they will be the exact opposite of what I'm expecting. But I'm kind of a slut and will just settle for the half naked look regardless what I look like in it! HAHA. Laugh my face off at those girls by the pool... nice!
I have found cute suits at Chadwicks on the internet. I go for the tankins with the boy shorts. I hate my thighs and the boy shorts are a sure cover. I usually end up sewing the bust close, I can't find a suit that isn't to deep in the cleavage coverage dept. Good luck!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your family picture and your blog background!! Rhodes Ramblings is rather appropriate too...not that you ramble really...no help on the swimsuit issue.
Super CUTE!! We loved going to lunch. I will add you to my blog as well :) And I didn't mind the dungeon at all. Talk to ya later
I like the one in the picture...not the one with the women by the pool though. Is that swimwear? I personally prefer to grab suits off the sale rack at the end of the year. I don't always try them on, I just get ones that look like they'll cover the appropriate bits then hope they fit me next year! Then I wear my coverup until just before I hit the water. Lauren and I went shopping for the mother of the bride dress the other day; it was terrifying. So I have joined a women's health club...did I mention I'm allergic to exercise?
I like the one that you picked from hapari.com--very whimsical. I like to go to La Vie en Rose swimsuits here, because they have lots of tankinis mostly (do they have that down there?)
I can't wait for spring to come! It's really bright and sunny out today, but it is FREEZING! Like, walk for five minutes and become human popsicle cold...
I think you should definitely get one of those full body suits! Very flattering ;) LOL!
There were a couple swimsuits that I liked at Hapari, but I think they haven't came out with their 2009 swimsuits. I don't know though. I have found more cute websites for swimsuits, but I totally know how you want to try them on. Let me know what you think when you go to Hapari's.
