Today was Davin's first day of Kindergarten! I can't believe he's that old already! He has been so excited to start and wasn't at all nervous. His teacher is really nice and he is excited to make new friends and learn how to read. There is a castle in is classroom to play in. I think he will have a lot of fun and will be a good student. It's so hard to watch them grow up so fast but it's fun at the same time. If any of you are wondering... NO, I did not cry. I was a little sad, but mostly excited for him. It will be fun to watch him learn so many new things this year! We love you, Davin!

What cute pictures, and what a grown-up boy you are Davin! We know you will do SO well in school, and we are so glad that your first day was FUN, FUN, FUN! We love you!
Holy cow! No way my little rainbow baby is that grown up. It's so funny, the first thing I thought was, oh wow I wonder if she bawled like a baby. Hehehe. So brave you are. Such cute pictures, and what a hot mamma you are!
How crazy! I swear the last time I saw him he was just over 1, weird! How exciting for him though! By the way, you look super cute in the pic of you two!
Congratulations Davin! You're a big boy now, for sure!
Good job, Am, for not crying and successfully launching baby #1 off to school! I read your blog to gramma and she sure enjoys the pictures. she sends her love.
Aw! Little bubba isn't so little anymore... I'm proud of you for not crying too! I'm a big bawl baby and would probably have cried for sure! Cute Davin! Congrats on your first day of school!
how fun! i'm definitely going to be one of those mom's having withdrawal issues in the elementary school parking lot..i already know i'm going to just bawl :) way to be strong!!!! so cute!
Way to go Davin! Kindergarten goes by so fast you won't believe it. I didn't cry until they went to 1st grade and were gone all day. He looks so ready and excited!
You are such a good picture taker. I take a picture of my boys at home and call it good! You are a great mom! Davin is going to love Kindergarten!
Dear Am,
I took Gramma home today and among all the cards waiting for her in her mail was the one from you. She said to tell you she loves the pictures and she could feel the love in those "hugs" She can't see to read so I read your message to her and we both had a little cry...she said to tell you that she looooooves you. And on raising twins, she chuckled and said, "it's all a blur...and that you have excellent instincts, Amberley, you are doing a marvelous job." We both think the pictures of the boys on your blog are amazing... and you are just getting more beautiful! Your smile is so warm and lovely, and gramma said, "the thing about Am is that she is unaware of her own beauty and that is part of her charm" This is a really long comment, I know, but I had to run home and tell you that gramma cherishes you and the letters you have sent her.
love you, A Doe
How cute! It is hard for me to believe that I have a child in kindergarten this year too. Kids really do grow up to fast. It does make it a little easier to see how excited they are for that first day though!
Davin, you are such a big boy! I know you will love Kindergarten. I can't believe that will be Stella and the twins next year. I'm not ready to cut the cord yet. We'll have to get together in a few weeks, we will be down at the cabin. I don't know which date yet tho. Love you guys!
Can you believe that our kids are starting school?! It is so crazy that we have kids in elementary! Allie is loving it though, so that has made the transition a little easier.
