Pigs & Cows & Cars, Oh my!

We went to the County fair this weekend. It was a lot of fun for everyone. The kids got to see all the bunnies, roosters, pigs, sheep and cows. Nathan loved the pigs and sheep the best. The other kids loved the small animals. They went on the dragon ride and then we let them have cotton candy. It was the first time they've ever had it (I know, we are weird parents), and at first they said, "this tastes like hair". But after the initial shock of the texture, and because it is straight sugar, they decided they loved it. The part they loved the best was watching the cars burn rubber on main street. It created so much smoke! They thought it was SO cool! One car even put a dye on his tires so the smoke was red! I think next year we will see if we can catch the derby, I'm sure the boys would just love that.

I can just see your boys at the fair! I'm sure they had a great time. I can't stomach the demolition derbies... it's too violent for me. The one time I watched one the guy had his arm sticking out of the car and well... ya know. Anyway sure do miss you guys. When are you coming up again?!

Sometimes I think your kids are more creative than most adults, it tastes like hair! hehehe. Looks like tons of fun, probably smelt like doo-doo with all those adorable farm animals... just in case you forgot. Miss you guys!!
