Hooray for the pumpkin pie! Nathan is loving it!

We celebrated Thanksgiving with my family this year and it was so nice since my parents remodel is finished. There was lots of room for everyone to hang out and chat. My Grandparents and my Aunt and Uncle and their family joined us so it was a lot of fun. The dinner turned out so good! Thanks mom and dad for all your hard work!

After we ate, we played some Beatles Rock Band. I think almost everyone took a turn playing something or singing. It's amazing how good the little kids are at the drums! It was a lot of fun! The next day, my parents watched the kids while Jas and I did some "black Friday" shopping with Cass. That's always an adventure. It's just fun to watch all the crazy people (not us, of course) and find some great deals. We got a lot done and since my town is retail store lacking, it was a good time to do it.

It was nice to have a few days to just be with my family and relax. My mom and I went to the Bead Fairy and picked out some beads to make a really pretty necklace, earring and bracelet set. We also made it to the health food store to get some raw honey and other health essentials.

It was a really fun weekend and we have so much to be thankful for. In light of the recent events, I am more grateful than ever for each day I am able to spend with my darling kids and family. It has put so many things in perspective for me. I am grateful for my family most of all and the health that I still enjoy. I am so grateful for where I live with so many great neighbors and friends that are always supporting me. We all have so much to be thankful for.
