Getting ready for Christmas...

The holidays are upon us, whether we are ready or not! I love this time of year (minus the sub-zero temps and icy snow on the roads) There is something purely magical about watching a small child decorate a Christmas tree. I have to take many pictures of this event every year. Here is Nathan hanging ornaments.

Davin loves to help out too.

The boys have been able to sit on not one, but two Santa's laps this year and their request was the same each time. Davin wants a Wii, the twins want games to play on the Wii, and Nathan wants a football. Here is Nathan telling Santa what he wants. So sweet.

Aaron and Collin performed in their Christmas play recently and it was darling! Aaron was a cowboy toy and Collin was a puppy toy. They did their parts so well and we are so proud of them! Here they are with their friend Kalee from school. What cute kids!

We were honored this year when we were able to attend Ballet West's "Nutcracker" performance with Grandma Marion. I hadn't seen it since I was a little girl. It was such a treat to be with my Grandma and to watch Davin experience the Nutcracker. Jason had never seen it before and he really enjoyed it (except maybe the tight tights on the men)! Davin loved the scene where the little kids that came out of the lady's dress, the kid that did back flips and the candy Grandma got for him. I loved the sugar plum fairies and the beautiful imagery. The music was so pretty too. It was a wonderful performance.

Thank you so much Grandma for taking us to the ballet! It was such a fun evening. Thank you to mom and dad for watching the other "monkeys" so we could go! We love you guys so much!
