Lake Powell 09

Get ready for picture overload... The family in front of the houseboat. We had an awesome spot on the lake!

My little beach bums. Unlimited sand + Unlimited water + Mom won't get mad = Little boy heaven.

This was one of our favorite places to hang out. There was a great spot to dive in and the kids had a blast jumping in. Collin wouldn't jump off the back of the houseboat at first, but by the end of the trip he was jumping off these rocks. He became a little fishy!! Way to go Collin!

Tremayne thought our spot wouldn't be perfect until it had a mud bath/spa. Collin thought this was an awesome idea. Uncle Tremayne just went up a notch on the "cool uncle" scale!

Dellany just realized that there may be mud where she doesn't want it... Love her expression!!

Nathan had so much fun and so many goldfish crackers that he wore himself out...

Cass up on the waterskiis. Yipee!!

It was a miracle... I got up on waterskiis and the wake board. (Even if it was only for less than a minute) It was so much fun! Nothing compared to tubing though. I had a blast trying to stay on the tube with Cassidy and Jas! (with Zac driving, it is AMAZING because he showed no mercy) We laughed SO hard.

Here is Jas on the wake board. He is a natural and made the rest of us trying look like idiots.

Here's me on the boat with my sisters cute hat.

Here's Britt, Jon and cute little C.J. C.J. found his new idol- Nathan. He'd get so excited when he saw him and yell "Nay Nay!!"

My mom can float like no other. We started calling her the "floating hat" because she'd just float forever on the lake and the only thing you could see was her hat.

We hiked and swam through some really fishy water to get to these Indian ruins. There were 2 houses and 3 other structures. It was really fun to see and worth the trip.

Here's Collin and Delly looking through one of the windows.

Indian art. (Nude Indian art even)

Zac and his girlfriend Taylor. (aka Tay Tay)

Our houseboat at sunset. It was SO hot and we all ended up sleeping on top of the houseboat under the stars. It was so fun. Well, until the "Snore Sonata" started and a few of us laughed hysterically into our pillows trying not to wake anyone up. Tremayne was definitely the crescendo of the symphony!! I thought we'd never be able to stop laughing!

Delly and Tremayne on the tube. They even coordinate. Makes for a great picture!

Davin doing a 360 off the houseboat slide. The kids had a blast on this!

Davin and Tyler on the tube. It was hard to get them to get off the tube. They had so much fun doing tricks and trying to hang on!

Grandpa and Nathan making sand pizza and birthday cake. They even sang "Happy Birthday". ADORABLE.

Collin and Aaron floating in the boat.

Collin in Lost Eden canyon. There was a cave there that was a cool place to take a dip in the lake.

Tyler and Davin at sunset.

We just spent a week (our longest vacation ever) in Lake Powell. It was so much fun! We rented a houseboat and speed boat which made it really nice. We had such a great spot with some sandstone to jump off of, some sand to dig in and some shallow spots to let the kids play. It was HOT to say the least so we slathered on the 50 spf and tried to stay in the water. The highlights of the trip were relaxing on the float tubes, (I'm pretty sure it's been years since I've been that relaxed) sliding off the slide on the back of the houseboat, jumping off the rocks, (no serious cliffs, I promise.) sleeping under the stars, the kids playing for hours in the water and sand without fighting, getting up on waterskiis and the wake board, hanging onto the tube for dear life, (We were awesome, right Cass?) getting ice cream at the Marina, Indian ruins, Britt getting a better job while doing a phone interview in a swimsuit, trying to wash my hair with Cass during the tsunami (okay, just really big waves), and just hanging out with my family in the most beautiful place. Thank you so much Mom and Dad for planning everything and taking us on such a great vacation. It was much needed. We love you!! I miss it already. Well, everything except my "sea legs" that is.

Your pics turned out so awesome, your camera kicks my camera's 'hiney' (to use an Am term instead of just saying ass... lol) hands down. You look super hot in that hat lady, I have such super gorgeous sistas! I think I've realized the real reason I can't sleep without medicine yet... Tremayne is too busy making beautiful music. LOL. So much fun, miss you already as well! Love you!
