Zoo Day

Aaron and Collin's favorite spot was the Carved Elephant that shoots water out at every one! It was hard to drag them away from this fun feature!


Nathan gets a ride from Aunt Delly. His favorite part of the Zoo was the Duck and ducklings that he was so eagerly chasing after but never was able to catch up to. It was hilarious!



Davin loved the Zoo and spending time with his cousins. His favorite part was also the water soaking Elephant and the Cheetah!

We had a really fun day at the Zoo! We loved watching the bird show. We knew the birds would be flying over the audience, but when the doves flew over us it was breathtaking! The kids loved seeing the Cheetah, Elephants and of course the Monkeys. The baby giraffe was really cute but Davin said he was sad, which he probably is. It's so fun to see all of the animals up close, but it is kind of sad that they aren't in their natural surroundings. They seem to be well cared for though.
The next day we went to my parents Stake Family Fun day. It was amazing! I think it was almost as big as our Scandinavian days down here and it was just their Stake. There was a parade (which Davin got to ride his bike in), free inflated slides (so the kids went down 500 times), a slip n' slide and water games, free lunch, live music, volleyball, free snow cones and ice cream, face painting and several other things! It was a blast! The kids had so much fun until they were too tired to do anything! We had so much fun with my family and hope that all the Dad's have a great Father's Day today!
