5 of My Favorite Things...

I thought this was a great idea from Jessi too! We all need things to make our lives easier and better. If you are reading this and want to do the same on your blog, consider yourself tagged! I can't wait to see what else you come up with.

1. My patio set that Jas got me for my birthday/Mother's Day. We have had so much fun eating outside and the best part is, I don't have to sweep the floor afterwards! I don't know why eating outside makes it so much more fun but it is very relaxing and the kids think it's such a treat!

2. Baking soda... that's right, baking soda. You can add 3/4 to 1 cup to your laundry and it will make everything smell great. I use it for my towels that I can't bleach. Add a Downy sheet to the dryer and they smell sooooo nice! You can also use it to clean up really gross things (like when your baby throws up in their car seat or on the floor). Use a little dish soap and baking soda and it will get rid of any residual odors! You can also use it for a canker sore, a bee sting, AND you can make cookies with it! I think it's amazing stuff.

3. I love my Scensty warmer too! I know I must have an obsession with things smelling good, but I love it when my house smells fresh and clean. My favorite scents are: Sunkissed Citrus, Camu Camu and Fresh Cut Cantaloupe. They are all sweet and summery and I love them right now. Mmmmmm....

4. SavvyShopperDeals.com. If you shop at Walmart for most of your items, they will price match any other stores sale prices. A few of my friends told me about this and I love it! Deals vary from week to week but it has saved me lots of money and it's really pretty easy. I just print it out my list and go by the sale price (not coupon price because you have to find the coupons elsewhere but if you had a manufacturer's coupon you could use that too) and just tell them the sale price at checkout. They don't even blink an eye and you save lots! Who doesn't want to save money on groceries? http://www.savvyshopperdeals.com/

5. I love Stampin' Up! I always look forward to stamp club to find out what new creative ideas Addie has. My friend Erin will have occasional "Stamp Camps", which are always so fun too! My favorite set right now is probably the "Be Happy" Set. It is so versatile and fun. (I didn't make this card but it shows you one way to use the set). I also love my circle punches, scallop punches and my crop-a-dile! I love to be creative and make cards and scrapbook pages. It may be what's keeping me sane!

6. Okay, so I added another one too... I love my Dymo Label Maker. I know, now you know what a dork I am! Jas made fun of me saying I didn't need one because they make these cool things called "Sharpies". Anyway... I love it! I organize my food storage buckets, clothing, toys, medicine, kids craft items, stamp sets and so on... I have so much fun with it and I love to have a place for everything and always know exactly where things are! That's gotta make life easier!

You are darn cute. I can only hope to be as organized, clean, and fresh as you someday... but don't hold your breath on that one!!

P.S. I love your playlist!!! I didn't realize you had one for a while, couldn't hear it over my music. See I'm torn about putting a playlist on mine, because I'm always listening to music as is... but I love yours! Oingo boingo??? LOVE IT! hehehe

What the heck is a Scenty? Is this some kind of candle? Since I never leave the house I guess I'm out of the loop. You've got to fill me in!

I really like you new patio set! I am also a big fan of eating outside when it is nice weather. Anytime there is less of a mess to clean-up, I am a happy camper!

I am glad that you did this! I really need to start using that SavvyShopper. I hear a lot about it, but I haven't really known what to do. You have music!

You are my kind of woman. Nothing like a great set of outdoor furniture and things that smell good. I love organizing too. I'm going to have to look into a label maker. Great idea!
