I have had so much fun with the juicer that my darling Grandma let me borrow. I thought at first that it would be something that I'd have to choke down, but I was so surprised when it turned out to be really good. I have tried apple-carrot juice, apple-lemon juice (tastes like the best lemonade you've ever had), apple-cranberry juice, and orange-lime juice. The juice tastes nothing like the stuff you get from concentrate or the bottle from the store. Even the apple-carrot juice is really sweet and good. I am trying to give my poor body whatever chance I can to heal and regenerate itself. My sister gave me "A Cancer Battle Plan" book and I have the Juiceman's juice book and both say a lot of the same things. Raw, fresh food is full of the nutrients our bodies need. It has been really fun making different recipes. I am also going to start trying "green smoothies" too. If anyone has a great raw fruit or veggie recipe that has been good, send it my way!
I am doing really well. I almost feel back to 100% pre-surgery. I still have a little tenderness at the surgery site, but I haven't taken any pain meds for over a week. There are always those days when I freak out, panic and cry because of the situation I am in, but I would say that more than 90% of the time I feel so much hope, optimism, and peace that things are going to be okay. I am still so grateful for all of you and all the many, many things that you have done for me.
I will be going to see 2 different oncologist (one of them from Huntsman) on the 30th of Oct. Hopefully, they will be able to recommend some good treatments to help me recover. I have a lot to fight for and I am a pretty stubborn person (as many of you know) so I will not give in!! Thanks again for everything!

My mom had a juiceman when I was growing up. I loved the apple carrot juice. It sounds so good. You are such an inspiration!!!
I'm glad you're past your surgery. Continue to stay strong! I love making apple carrot juice although I haven't done it for a while. I may just have to dig out our juicer after reading your post. Love you!
my parents recieved some information once about how amazing asparagus is for cancer. Eat lots of that! I'll have to see if my parents can find it and I'll send you a copy!
