Summer = Relaxing?

I wonder who came up with the idea that summer was relaxing... It seems like it is ten times crazier than the rest of the year! We have kept busy with swimming lessons for the boys every morning for the past 2 weeks. They have done really well. Collin still refuses to go off the diving board though. (even though he did it last year) It's been fun watching them turn into little fishies, especially Davin. With our Lake Powell trip coming up, they need to be little fish!! (Their life jackets will be super-glued to them anyway). Nathan loves to sit with Jas and I and eat fishy crackers instead.

Then on Mon. and Wed. we are off to the ball field for T-ball games. Luckily, all the boys are on the same team and we don't have to be running in 3 different directions. That will be coming next year. The boys are doing awesome at T-ball too. It's so fun to watch. I love it when I catch one of my kids playing in the dirt instead of watching the game. Obviously, I want them to play and learn what the rules are, but I love that they are just little still and are fascinated by the red dirt.

We are trying to plan some camping trips so our trailer isn't as sad this summer. We only took it out 3 times last year. As much as I love camping, I have to admit the idea of packing the trailer, packing the food, packing the clothes and every other essential item we may need, and then unpacking and cleaning everything again when we come home makes me want to just stay here, run through the sprinklers and go out to dinner. Sounds good to me. I've got trees in my backyard, right? I guess if I want to relax this summer I have to just plan to relax. A day without any "projects" or places to run or things to do sounds good. I can taste the lemonade already.

aawww, but it goes by far too fast. I hear ya about the packing and unpacking though, I feel that way too and I've been to the cottage once so far to open it up for the season...Ed goes up and hangs out there while I do wedding stuff:) I LOVE your photos Am! What an eye you have for the right shot. Sure wish you could photograph Lauren & Matt's wedding. I will send you a video if you'd like:)

I love to look at pool pictures. The water always look so bright and clear. And kids always look the happiest when they're in the water!

I completely understand. Our camper goes unused a lot too. We should plan a camping trip with all of us and then maybe we'll get motivated to go!
