The Mexican Jumping Bean race. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of the adults doing this. It was hilarious.

The 3 amigos

The Osmonds. Shane and Britt definitely win "best dressed". They came in their full Mexican attire and Shane even did a little serenade for us.

My little 3 amigos.

We just had our 3rd annual Cinco de Mayo fiesta. No, we are not Mexican, nor do we have any Mexican heritage. We just think it's a fun reason to celebrate the beginning of spring. We turn up the Mexican music, drink lime slushee and eat really good appetizers and desserts. I'm sure our neighbors think we are nuts. Oh well. The kids had fun in the "Mexican Jumping Bean" race (a.k.a the sack race). The adults were so funny to watch trying to do the jumping bean race. It's actually a lot harder than it looks. The hit of the party is always the pinata. Some of the kids can really whack it! They all go crazy when the candy falls out. We hope to keep the tradition going year after year and are so grateful to everyone for coming and making it so much fun!

For such 'small town folks' you sure do have a lot of fun parties! I am all for celebrating Cinco de Mayo! That looks like a lot of fun am, and now I could really go for some green slushy drink and maybe a burrito. hehe.
