More presents? A scooter from Mom & Dad. (He got the crown from Kindergarten and wore it most of the day.)
Davin turned 6 yesterday and he (of course) had to have a Motocross party. It was so much fun making his invitations and making the kids "pit passes" and finding all the racing decorations. I reserved the pavilion and college church parking lot and set up a "race course" for the kids. We had a loud horn to start each heat and the kids had a blast! It wasn't long before I realized I'd better have a first aid kit on hand! We did have a few crashes, but only one skinned knee. I was annoyed with the 50 mph wind gusts (seemed like it) that wanted to ruin my decorations and the ominous clouds that hovered overhead. The kids still had so much fun riding and Davin got lots of fast presents that he was so excited about! I made the cake into a mini motocross track and Davin loved that. He has lots of really fun friends and they had a great time. I'm so glad that those clouds waited till after the party to downpour. It really did downpour too!! Here is a picture of the parking lot after the party! Happy birthday D-man, we sure love having you in our family!

I'm a horrible aunt... I didn't even call to wish Davin a Happy Birthday! Where did you end up finding the flags? The birthday party looks like it was a huge hit! You are so creative. Everything looks so perfect (of course!) Also, nice little tender mercy that the rain stayed away long enough for the party. Davin's face says it all... priceless.
That is a such a great cake! I might have to steal it for next year a long with the fun party that Jabin loved. He wants a motorcross party next year for his b-day :) By the way as soon as I saw the picutres I realized I forgot to send his helmet with him. Thanks for lending him one :)

The party turned out so cute! Isaac had so much fun! All I can say about that picture of Isaac is "Nice". Anyways, you are so creative and what more can we expect from you. I can't believe the rain that came in after your party either. That was crazy, but you missed by a few minutes. Thanks for having Isaac come!

Wow ! I can't believe Davin is already six. It doesn't seem like that long ago that I was working for you guys. I saw you in church and wanted to say hi, but I had to take Bridget out early. Maybe next time I am down I will be able to see you guys. Hope you are all doing well!
