This is why we love my Dad. Look at his face! He's having as much fun as the kids!
So we went to Lagoon this weekend, or "The Goon" as the kids call it. We had so much fun! I absolutely love amusement parks and the scarier the ride, the more I love it! My family was there and my parents watched the kids so we could go on some of the crazy rides. It was a blast! I loved "Wicked" and of course the old white rollercoaster that seems like it may fall apart at any second. I loved watching the kids faces filled with excitement as they went on the rides! Davin's favorite ride was "The Bat" with daddy and the new "Odysea" that squirts you with water. Aaron's favorite thing about Lagoon was Grandpa. (I know, how cute is that?!) He especially loved running through the water feature with Grandpa. Collin loved the "Odysea" ride too and I had so much fun going on it with him. He just giggled when we'd get wet. Nathan was funny. I'm not sure if he was tired or was still not feeling well from the stomach bug that Davin so lovingly brought home from Kindergarten. He went on most of the rides expressionless. No smile, no laugh, no fear, he just sat there like, "Here I go on another ride... around and around... yeah..." It was so funny! He is pretty mellow anyway, but this was a little unlike his personality. He did start laughing more towards the end of the day. It was so much fun to be with all of my sisters and brother for a day. The kids had so much fun and were totally worn out by the end of the day.
We can't wait to go to "The Goon" next year, right everyone?

How much fun!!! Your boys are so precious. I bet you had just as much fun watching them as you did riding the rides. I love "wicked"...well now that I know what to expect :)Next year we'll have to come join you!

looks great!! we've been wanting to go to lagoon more this summer..i still haven't tried all the new rides :) how fun!! and p.s...guess where my "pero" addiction started, the pizza gallery!!! hehe!! those blasted blended drinks we're toooo good!!! hehe! i was bad and would buy them a lot :) now it's pero :)
You always have the best pictures! I love the one with all the boys in the Lagoon car, how cute. It was so fun, I'm really sad I couldn't stay longer. I don't know if it was going on those rides or what but I wasn't right all weekend. Stupid tum tum. Oh and classic picture of Dad being a kid again, love it. Hope to see you guys again real soon. That is so much fun! I love Lagoon! My boys have never been and your boys really look like they had a blast! Probably a lot having to do with having some fun granparents! How fun!
