We went up to Cache County for the Annual Rhodes camp out this past weekend. It was so beautiful up there! The wildflowers were out everywhere. We went to Minnetonka cave the first day and the kids loved it and did really well hiking through it. After that we went and got gigantic ice cream cones. Nathan was in heaven that I let him have the whole thing as it dripped all over him, and I mean ALL over him! The next day we went on a hike to the old saw mill where they got lumber to build the temple. It was a beautiful hike too, just wish we would have brought more water! The next day we went to Bear Lake and this was probably the highlight of the trip for the kids. They could have stayed there all day! My favorite parts of the trip were having a potty finally after years of "tenting" it, Bear Lake, laughing at Shannon all padded up to play paint ball (I guess she was worried it would hurt), and visiting till all hours of the night around the camp fire. Davin's favorite part would probably be riding his bike through the huge mud puddle that all the boys found, Bear Lake, the cave and hanging out with his cool older cousins. Aaron and Collin loved the lake, playing air soft guns with Daniel and playing with glow sticks at night. Nathan just loved to play in the dirt and not get in trouble for it. We had so much fun and can't wait to go again... that is when I get the laundry done from this trip!

Cute pictures! The smile on your boys faces say it all. It's so nice just to get away from everyday life for a few days. Good luck with the laundry though!
I'm extrememly jealous!! I can't wait to go camping this year, it seems like I've been waiting for it ever since Moab. Let's plan on bringing painting stuff for all this beauty you've been talking about! Your kids are so cute. That picture of the twins walking is ridiculously adorable.

A. Dorothy here...your mom introduced me to your blogs and i am going to get one going too! Your pictures of the boys are so amazing, i think you could be a professional photographer at some point. Your parents just left, and i am feeling lonely for my sister. we've been up at the cottage and pretty much chilled (literally, too, the water is COLD) and visited. Wish you could come up here. Once i figure out how this blogging works I'll post pics. love you!
